As a specialist in manners and character building in children, much of my life has been spent directing my family’s cotillions, preparing young people to go out into the world with increased self-confidence, a knowledge of good manners and personal responsibility, and an attitude of leadership which helps them to be aware of how they can positively affect the people in their lives.

Here you will find editorials and articles I have written over the years as well as musings on a variety of topics such as cell-phone habits, what it means to be a leader, and the power of our own expectations.  There are also tips and pointers on a variety of topics, as well as useful books for parents seeking support in raising successful children.  I hope you will find much to value and enjoy!

It’s the thing you do

that makes you good.
